FAQ | Archon Advising

Seldom Asked Questions

Archon Advising facilitates radical accountability for men who are stuck, lost, or sabotaging their potential. This is not therapy, coaching, and definitely not coddling. It's discipline over drama through truth.

This agency exists to break cycles by dragging men out of the quicksand of ego, addiction, weakness, and victim-hood mindsets. We do it by teaching men how to interact with themselves in an entirely new way—honestly without guilt, shame, or anxiety.

We use proven, time-tested tools: journaling, reflection, and raw, daily honesty. The goal isn't to cope. It's to conquer ourselves.

I’m Eric Ruth, trial attorney, four-time author, Stoic consultant, Navy veteran, and a man who burned his life to the ground before rebuilding it brick by honest brick.

I created The Honesty Experiment after crawling out of decades of lies, booze, porn, rage, sabotage, and silence. I got super fat. I got dead depressed. I blamed everyone else. Then I got to work. Through journaling, I rebuilt my life, built a bulletproof marriage, revitalized my career, and renewed my sense of purpose by facing the truth head-on.

No. This is very far from coaching. This isn’t about motivation or your feelings. This is about your actions. If you're looking for a safe space, a diagnosis, or a prescription, I'll help you find the right medical professional. Otherwise, show up ready to do the work you've been dying to get into.

Every program is built on The Honesty Experiment—a daily journaling practice designed to confront lies, destroy ego, and clarify action. You choose the pace:

  • DIY – $12.12 (the book): Start solo. No fluff. Just the book and your willpower. Buy the book
  • Group Consulting – $200/month: Weekly meetings with other men doing the work
  • 1-on-1 Intensive – $2,500 for six weeks: Deep dives, daily check-ins, custom accountability

The Archon logo reimagines the anarchy symbol—an A in a circle—by adding a halo. Where anarchy means no rulers, often mistaken for chaos, this symbol means self-rule—order without imposed authority. It reflects the Stoic pursuit of inner discipline. In ancient Greece, an “Archon” was a magistrate, a ruler not crowned by bloodline, but appointed by the polis, ideally for wisdom and integrity. This symbol is a reminder: no empire is built until the inner kingdom is mastered.
